Ten years ago, this epic album was released. I instantly fell in love with the music, especially the heavy mix of guitar and violins. When I found out they were re-releasing a special edition of "Fallen" on purple vinyl, I literally stopped what I was doing to pre-order the album. Finally after about 3 months of waiting, it arrived yesterday.

Since this is one of my favorite all-time albums, I noticed that some versions of songs were different from what I have on my iPod. The songs that stuck out to me include, "My Immortal", "Haunted", and "Tourniquet". Not that it's a bad thing. I'm so happy to have been able to grab a copy and I really hope that The Open Door and Evanescence will also be re-released on vinyl.
