Tropical Punch

There is nothing like a pop of color that brings out an outfit. This is very girly, and extremely simple. You can add pretty much any color to black and white to help bring an outfit to life even more. Here I added my orange pleated skirt that I made. Most people when they add to the black/white combination, it is usually red or turquoise. Don't be afraid to step outside the box. I even mixed it with two colors in my other post HERE.

This look is very summery and as we get close to the fall fashion season, I am slowly starting the transition to more fall inspired pieces - although I probably will not be able to wear many of them for another few months. It stays pretty hot where I am until late September so I am not worried whether or not I get the wear out of my summer wardrobe. I have plenty of time.

Usually these colors are worn together around Halloween but I never really got that vibe from this outfit. Summery yes, fall-ish, not so much. I think if I made the top solid black and added some tights and boots, it would scream fall.

The dark lip, (my H&M - Wild Thing lipstick), gives a little more edge and another excuse to wear lipstick just because!
