Maxi dresses are ideal for cold weather because they can be layered in so may different ways. The best part about it is that you can cheat and wear thick tights or even leggings to stay toasty. Here I layered this look with a sweater and vest as one variation.

So while I was taking photos for the blog, I had these two cuties watch me closely. They stayed still long enough for me to snap this picture. I guess they wanted to show off their fierce modeling skills too!
