It's Tardis time!!
For all the Dr. Who fans out there here is a Tardis Cake Topper made by yours truly!
While at work one day my good friend Julia and I were out for a walk discussing cake ideas for her wedding reception. I happened to mention it would be cool to do a Tardis cake topper…and the rest is history! (After making it, it was a little top-heavy so it’s actually sitting next to the cake)
She’s a huge fan of the BBC television show so it seemed very fitting for her to have this. The Tardis and “Dr. Who” (in this case is being played by her adorable dog Yuri) are made out of fondant. I used a secret weapon for all the signs and windows. It was priceless to see her face when she saw it on the table.
Not only did I have the privilege to do her cake, but I also did a wedding portrait that I must admit was pretty darn cool and unconventional!
I had so much fun doing this and everyone loved it. But most importantly the bride (and groom) were happy and that’s all that really mattered!
