DIY: Easy Studded Friendship Bracelet

By B.Nova - Saturday, August 04, 2012

Since friendship bracelets are so popular, I decided to a DIY. I remember when I used to make a whole bunch of these. I had one of the bead cases full of the yarn, beads, and other embellishments. Now that they are back, it has been a fun trip down memory lane with an updated twist!

Here is what you'll need:

- Stud Prong Press
- 1 Friendship Bracelet (you can either buy one or make one - this one I made myself)
- 4-5 Studs (depending on size): Mine are 1/2" round cone studs

Step 1: Flip over your friendship bracelet to the back. Position where you want you stud and push it through the bracelet. Don't worry! The threads may shift a little.

Here is a better view of what it will look like:

Step 2: Using the Stud prong press, push the prongs inward toward each other. This may take a little muscle depending on how big or small your studs are.

This is what it will look like on the front side of the bracelet:

Step 3: Repeat with the remaining studs until all are in place on the bracelet!

Step 4: Wear with fierceness! That's it! It's just that simple!
