I know it's almost Christmas, but I had to share with you all a little of my trip to Macon, GA for Turkey Day and thereabouts. This was my first time there so it was truly an experience. There was so much food, fun, and more food! I met family I never knew and to top it off, we stayed in a fabulous hotel!
The room was amazing with lots of wonderful features, but this was the one place I wanted to hang out.
I know for a fact I want one of these mirrors!
This is where we stayed, Spring Hill Suites Marriott, did I mention it was an AMAZING hotel.

There was a cool restaurant we ate at for breakfast one day. Have any of you ever been here?
J.Christopher's is open breakfast and lunch. It was very "hip" inside, (sorry I didn't snap any pictures but trust me when I say it's cool.) The walls were covered in different types of artwork and all the serving dishes were mix-match.
My plate...I fought hard not to eat the biscuit, but I had to eat part of it. It's a Signature Breakfast Skillet (I built my own) with potatoes, pico de gallo, ham, spinach and scrambled eggs (instead of over easy) and I substituted the English muffin for the biscuit. So yummy!
Of course you can't go to Georgia without seeing pecans! We visited a local farmer's market to get some. Always support local farmers!

So I have been on a kick with studding things I own, (but it's so much fun!). I had a purse I bought from Target on clearance and I wore it so much the strap broke. Instead of crying over spilt almond milk, I decided to revamp the purse and turn it into something fabulous and you can do it too!
Here is what you'll need:
- 1 clutch bag or purse
- Studded prong press- Awe (will be used to help make holes)
- Studs (this will depend on how much you want to stud. I only did the top flap and used about 50 cone studs)
Step 1: Figure out where you want to place the stud. With the stud in hand, using force, push the stud through the fabric.
Step 2: You will now have holes where you placed your studs. If the prongs didn't go all the way through, using the Awe, poke through the marks so the hole continues to the other side. You will know that it was successful if you can push the prongs on the studs all the way through without a lot of effort.
Step 3: Using the prong press, push down the prongs on the studs to lock them in place. This will take a little muscle but it's totally worth the end result! Then repeat until you have the desired amount of studs and that's it!

So I have a crazy amount of studs and I needed to find ways to use them. The studded shorts have been a recent trend so I decided to give them a try!
Here is what you need:
- A pair of denim shorts any style (I bought these from American Eagle on sale a while back)
- Studs any size and style (I used a combination of cone and pyramid studs)
- Awe (optional)
- Stud prong press
Step 1) Figure out where you want to place the studs. Place a stud where you want it and push it through the denim. If it doesn't go all the way through use the awe to make a hole.
Step 2) Using the prong press press the prongs inward so they secured to the shorts.
Step 3) Repeat until you have the desired amount of studs!
After some pondering I realized I wanted these to have more flare so I ended up adding more studs so the end result was this...
Pair these with a cute crop top or tank, sandals or boots and you are one fierce Fashionista! I'll try to post a few ways to wear these soon!
